Yesterday, Beyonce teased a six second cryptic message encouraging the “Bey Hive” to tune in at 9AM EST for a special announcement.
The special announcement turns out to be Pepsi’s latest commercial titled “Mirrors” where Beyonce battles herself. Depicting looks from her most classic music videos, Beyonce and her can of Pepsi battle her past in a baddie dance off to the beat of her upcoming Timbaland-produced single, “Grown Woman” which hits iTunes on Monday.
“Embrace your past but live for now,” is the slogan of the ad, directed by Jake Nava, who previously worked with Bey on videos like “Crazy in Love” and “Baby Boy.”
Besides working with Pepsi, Beyonce is not only gearing up for her “Mrs. Carter Show” world tour, but she’s also putting the finishing touches on her highly anticipated forthcoming album.
Lets not forget to mention that the Queen is covering Amy Winehouse’s “Back To Black” with Andre 3000 for The Great Gatsby soundtrack.
Bey is super busy, but she’s basically superhuman, so all is well for the Carter clan.
