It has been quite the week for music superstar Drake. This past Sunday, Drake celebrated a Grammy win for the song “God’s Plan” from his latest album Scorpion. His acceptance speech caused major controversy and resulted in him being cut off mid-speech by the show’s producers. Today, Drake is celebrating the 10-year anniversary of his first mixtape So Far Gone and is doing so by allowing the tape to be released on all streaming platforms.

The mixtape’s anniversary serves as a special mark for Drake as an artist, being that is was the start of his break into music. He is, arguably, now seen as one of the most dominant forces in the music industry, breaking records left and right.

Drake took to Instagram to announce the official release of So Far Gone and to thank those that have been with him along the way. He writes, “I will never forget anybody involved in this journey even if you don’t fit in this caption…”.

In another Instagram post, he made the announcement, “So Far Gone streaming everywhere 10 years later. Praying for 10 more”. Judging by the success of Drake’s career thus far, it’s safe to say that there’s a pretty good chance of Drake’s prayer being answered.
