Back in 2013 Disney found a smash hit with Frozen. Since its release the film has grossed over $1.6 billion in worldwide box office and total domestic video sales. It has gone down as one of the most memorable animated movies in the last decade thanks to its lovable characters and catchy soundtrack.

It is no surprise then that this cash cow from the house of mouse is getting a sequel. Officially announced back in 2015 Disney has been rather silence about information regarding Frozen II. But with fan craving for more Elsa and Anna Disney couldn’t deny them any longer.

Dropped a couple of days ago on Disney’s official Facebook page, the trailer for Frozen II is already breaking records. Since its released a few short days ago the trailer reportedly generated 116.4 million views in its first 24 hours, as reported by Deadline. This set a new all-time view record for an animated trailer, topping Pixar’s Incredibles 2 trailer by more than 3 million views. This paired with the Avengers: Endgame trailer (scoring a clean 289 million views) shows just how much Disney can cater to their audience. Then again, this should be no surprise coming from the film that took home the 2013 Academy Award for best animated film.

Disney knew they had a franchise with this film, and these views seem to confirm their suspicions. While the trailer didn’t seem to show us much about what will be happening in the movie just yet, it sure did raise some good questions. Once again Disney is inviting us to revisit this world for a daring adventure for all ages. The film is set for a November release, and it seems that people can’t wait to jump head first back into snow pile.
