Cast members who have since been killed off or left the series are making a special appearance in Belfast for a taped special.

Sean Bean, who played Ned Stark on the HBO Fantasy Drama, tipped off fans about the special in the works.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Bean described what it was like to see his fellow cast members again and keeping in touch. “Last time, was about four weeks ago in Belfast… It was good! It’s funny with work, you don’t really keep in touch. You do so many types of jobs in that part of the world. It’s just like whenever I see old friends or even old drama school friends, it’s just the same, we pick up where we left off last time.”

E! News confirmed the special will not be airing on television. In order to see this oh-so-secret special, you have to by the Game of Thronesboxed set. A date for when it will be released for purchasing has yet to be announced.

Jason Momoa supposedly stopped by during the filming of the final season of the series. Whether he will be featured in the special is unknown. Natalie Dormer, Richard Madden, Iwan Rheon, Diana Rigg, Aiden Gillen, Rose Leslie, Finn Jones, Michelle Fairley, Michael Huisman, Jack Gleeson and Pedro Pascal are amongst other cast members who have since exited the series.

The final season of GOTwill make its debut on HBO in April 2019.
