The Temple University community was left in shock after Burleigh went missing following a night out and then was found deceased two days later – allegedly murdered by former student Josh Hupperterz.

“The Temple University community was deeply saddened and heartbroken to learn of this tragedy,” said Vice Dean of Student Affairs for Klein College, Kimberly Guyer. “But in true Temple spirit, we have all pulled together to support one another. Our sincere condolences go out to Jenna’s friends and family.”

Guyer explains how Tuttleman is planning on helping students in need.

“Tuttleman Counseling Services (TCS) offers ongoing support for our students in a variety of areas,” Guyer said. “In addition to these standard services, Klein College worked with TCS to offer opportunities to discuss the tragedy in a group format facilitated by TCS staff. Students are still welcomed to visit TCS for individual counseling, which is always free of charge and confidential”

Students across all majors were glad to hear about the services being offered.

“I feel like [Tuttleman] is offering a lot of good services,” said psychology major Cheyenne Manning. “I feel like it’s a really good thing that [Tuttleman] is aware that it impacted so many people whether they directly knew Jenna or not”.
