Split/Glass Double Feature Special

Philadelphia’s own M. Night Shyamalan came roaring back into mainstream acclaim with 2016’s psychological horror/thriller Split. The story of a man, played by James McAvoy, who is gifted with terrific and terrifying powers. The film was met with acclaim by both critics and fans as a return to form for director Shyamalan. During the film’s post credit scene it was revealed that the movie was set in the same universe as Shyamalan’s 2000 super-hero film Unbreakable.

Over the years Unbreakable has grown a cult following, with fans wanting a sequel since its release. With such a positive response to Split and the fan support for Unbreakable it was only inevitable that a third film would follow. Set to release January Friday the 18th, Glass is primed to conclude the trilogy in a big way. With a star-studded cast including Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson and James McAvoy, many are excited to see the conclusion to Shyamalan’s first film series.

To accommodate the excitement, as well as show home town love for Shyamalan AMC Broadstreet 7, located right across from Morgan Hall, is offering a special deal for Temple University students. On Thursday 17th night at 5pm Broadstreet AMC theater will off a double feature of Split & Glass.
